This page collects several charts of mortality in The Netherlands. The purpose of the charts is to show the effect of the coronavirus (COVID-19) on mortality by highlighting the 'excess' mortality (observed minuis expected) recorded in 2020. The charts are based on data compiled from the CBS and ECDC. The charts show weekly and cumulative excess mortality for the entire population, as well as per sex and age group. I update the charts every couple of weeks.
